• I am absolutely positive you can access Gmail from the tablet. As far as Google maps, I don't think it's in the Amazon app store but there is a way to side load it. Just search for instructions on how to do it. Just in case you didn't know, this tablet does not have GPS hardware to take full advantage of maps software.
