No just download the Amazon app. Most smart devices have it already downloaded and in the list of apps already on the device
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have a smart blue-Ray player and have yet to power it on after purchasing my fire stick. You have access to most likely all the apps that are on the blue-Ray player along with many more. In addition, to watching great quality movies, tv shows, and listen to music, you also have the opportunity to play games within the Amazon store.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your smart blue ray player probably is a streaming device of its own. Depending on the brand and type will depend on what it will allow you to stream. We have a LG blue ray player (I do not recommend it) that allows us to stream Netflix, Hulu but it does not allow us to stream Amazon video. Each device seems to be a little different. But with this Fire stick you can do a lot, if not all streaming services.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need one, but it opens up so many options for watching tv.
