• There is a way to get tv on the Fire Stick. Go on YouTube and input your question as "tv on fire stick." I'm sure you will be able to find some useful info. As far as doing away with direct tv. I'm gonna say no right now. The Fire Stick is good but not quite there yet.

• You would need to subscribe to a service to acquire channels that are supplied in Directv's packages. Unless you take it to another level and install Kodi, then put some 3rd party add-ons.

• It does have alot of channels through different addons. Castaway, phoenix, uk turklists and others. You can most definitely do away with all movie channel packages with direct tv and sports too.

• No it will not pick up TV channels. However you can incorporate access TV shows using Hulu and Amazon. You also can add Kodi and one of it add-ons.

• Negative. But you can go buy a Clearview 4k outdoor 65+mile antenna and catch roughly 30-45 channels depending on your location. TVFool.com will show you how many to expect to catch. And also use Antenna Helper on Android and it will show you exactly where to point that antenna for optimum performance. I catch 32 channels consistently and most are in 1080p which I didn't have before with basic cable. Nice to finally get something for FREE from the government these days....
