You must have a wifi provider at your home. Once connected you enter your wifi information into the fire stick and you can begin using it

It plugs into you TV in an USB port. If your TV does not have a USB port you can probably get an adapter. Take a picture of the back of your TV and bring it to best buy. If you don't have a USB port on your TV they can help you get the right adapter. So the stick is great. It connects your TV to the Internet. It has some apps built in, netflix, Amazon and others. You can easily add others like Redbox. You just set up an account online then login to your account via the stick. The remote that comes with the stick makes navigation easy.
