• I don't believe this is possible. You can pair a mobile device using the Amazon app for typing and navigating though. This person tried in length to get an external mouse/keyboard to work and could not. http://www.aftvnews.com/fire-tv-stick-will-not-accept-a-usb-keyboard-or-mouse/

• I have seen that there is an apk file that can be sideloaded to unlock the bluetooth capability. I dont know if I can post the link but if you google it you will find that there is a file floating around that can unlock that part of the fire tv stick. Obviously you need to make sure your keyboard is bluetooth.

• I have not gotten a mouse but you can download the Amazon Fire TV App for your smartphone. As long as your phone is connected to the same wifi signal as your stick you can use your phone as the remote. You can then use your phone keyboard to type in whatever you need rather than using the remote.

• The Niko game pad pro will connect Bluetooth and will give you a sort of a mouse. Amazon also Sells a $40 fire tv controller but I had a Niko and can confirm that sort of works. If you want to use USB anything you are out of luck with a stick..

• Your best bet is to use a Bluetooth device from gamestop. Do some Google searching and a specific model will come up.
