pretty easy to install. just put it into the back of your tv. the more complicated part is getting online to buy an account with a service provider such as hulu, sling, or playstation vue. you have to pay for that service as well. so you are paying for the firestick and cable service.

It is very easy to install. When you get the device, all you'll need to do is sign in with your Amazon account or create one if you don't have one. After that you'll have access to all the apps like Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, HBO GO, etc. Those do require a subscription, however.

No, just like any other streaming service, you would have to have a subscription. If you have an Amazon Prime account you can watch Amazon Prime for free.
there are also apps for broadcast stations that have free movies and TV

The Fore TV is easy to install and it takes you step by step on the installation process. As a side note make sure you have a TV with an HDMI port and also have wireless internet at home. These notes may seem like a no brainer but some customers often overlook this as video streaming is new to them. Many apps you download on the Fire TV are absolutely free but some are not and the ones you've mentioned including Netflix and Hulu do still require their own monthly service fee. My best advice is to do a google search of the fire tv's capabilities and you may just be surprised on its full potential. (Hint Hint)

It is pretty easy to hook up. No the streaming services are not free. You have to pay a monthly service charge for them. But so worth the price if you don't watch cable.
