• A lot of free content with some subscription programming as well. Still very cost effective as alternative to cable or satellite if going with Hulu, Netflix, etc

• Yes there is a cost associated with certain accounts. It allows you to access them if you didn't have a smart TV. Netflix is a paid subscription. There are apps that you can get such as "Crackle" that will get you free older movies. YouTube is popular too. If you are watching something for free most likely there will be ads.
