“Does this have lock screen ads? On Amazon it cost 30 dollars more for no ads I'm wondering if that's just an Amazon thing ?”

• Hi Marisa! Yes the Kindle's you buy at retail will have ads on the lock screen. You can pay a one time fee of usually $20 to remove them. Go to the Manage Your Content and Devices page on Amazon. Click the Devices tab and choose Kindle e-reader from the list. Look for Special Offers and click Remove Offers. Click End Offers and Pay the Fee. Hope that helps!
