I haven't used many E readers in my life, but I have to say, the ease of use and the size of this really make it a fantastic product. Battery life lasts so long I forget to charge it, I think its been about two weeks of use so far. The screen is nice to look at, especially at night, and doesnt disturb others around you.

I’ve been using this Kindle for a few weeks and really enjoy how lightweight and comfortable it is to hold. The 300 ppi display makes text crisp and easy on my eyes, and the front-light works great indoors or in sunlight. I love having 16 GB of storage so I can carry a huge library without worry. The Matcha color is a nice aesthetic touch. My main complaint: it lacks waterproofing and warm-light filter that higher models have — so I’m a little cautious reading in the bath or late at night. Overall, a solid pick for everyday reading at a good value.

This Kindle model is fantastic for anyone who just wants a reliable e-reader. Even with the lower storage size, it still holds thousands of books, which is more than enough for most readers. This kindle has changed my life! Before my kindle, I’d occasionally read a paper book from barnes and nobles. I’ve always enjoyed reading, but I found it hard to find time and motivation to read. Sine having my kindle, I’ve read 8 books in two months! It makes it so much fun to read, and I love that it’s so portable and cute. I can take it anywhere, and can read in the sun or in the dark in bed without any problems. I also like that theres no notifications or distractions- I can easily get so lost in a book! Pro tip: if you have a library card, you can use the Libby app on your phone to check out digital books and send them to your kindle library for free. Absolute game changer! The battery also lasts for months. I do wish it was waterproof and had warm light, but it’s not a deal breaker. The biggest issue is that it comes with ads on the lock screen. I ended up caving and paying the extra $20 to remove them. If you just want a good basic kindle, this is the device for you. Check out the other kindles (scribe, paperwhite, colorsoft) to see which is the best fit for you. Overall- I absolutely adore my Kindle and it’s changed my relationship with reading. Highly recommend.

This is my first Kindle. I used to read on my iPad and phone through the Kindle app. I decided to get one and went through so many video reviews on TikTok. I landed on this Kindle mostly because of the size and weight. Boy am I glad I chose this Kindle. It's lighter than my phone. The size is perfect. I can easily carry it with me anywhere I go. I cannot get enough of how light it is.

OK when I say this is a must buy if you like to read books but don’t have a whole bunch of space to store actual books you can store thousands of books in this Kindle if you travel a lot, this is so much more convenient than logging around books especially if you’re reading multiple at once the Matcha color is really cute. It’s small and handy easy to throw in your purse and if you buy clear cases, you can decorate the back of it. It’s truly one of my favorite things that I bought this year.

It charges super fast and the battery lasts for a very long time. I have had it for 6 months and have only had to charge it a couple of times. Its page refresh is great. I have this and a paperwhite. I leave my paperwhite at home and use this in my purse. If this was waterproof I would just buy two of these, I like the compact size of this vs. the paperwhite. And the color is so pretty!

Just to preface, this is my first kindle. I have an iPad Mini but always stuggled to focus on reading on the tablet and it would always overheat while reading outdoors. I did alot of research on both the basic and ppw. I ended up getting the basic and am very happy with my choice. The e-ink is very easy on the eyes and it also has dark mode. The matcha green is a very pretty color. The interface is easy to use. It is lightweight and the size is perfect to fit in my handbag for on the go reading. Only feature missing is a waterproof version! In the box: kindle, USB C charging cable and quick start guide THINGS TO NOTE: this is a ad supported device. On the lockscreen it shows recommended books. It can be removed by amazon for a one time fee. However it doesnt really bother me. To sum it up, i would highly recommend this kindle to anyone who wants something lightweight, portable and distracted free reading! This kindle is the best purchase i’ve made in a while. It’s lightweight and easy to fit in my purses or even my sweatpants pocket! The battery lasts me a little over a week because i read a lot and the screen is easy on my eyes. I recommend getting this kindle

Great e reader, it's a perfect pocket size, doesn't hurt my hand to hold it while lying down. I've never used any other e reader than kindles and this one is my favorite of the few I've had. Definitely recommend for anyone who gets hand cramps or with arthritis, you can change font size super easily and this one seems to be speedier than my last kindle with great battery life. Amazing E reader! The size is small enough to take along everywhere! Love that I can connect my library app so I can read the ebooks I checkout. It has amazing battery life as well. Overall excellent product and performance for the price!

Thesis was a great purchase. 10-10 recommend It’s great for on the go. It’s so light weight and easy to use.

Sometimes it doesn’t sync if I’m reading from another device with my account set up, which is why I gave it 4 stars. However, I’m glad I splurged (for me) on an e-reader after researching different brands because I’m an avid reader. With that in mind, I can finish multiple books within a week & still not have to charge my Kindle- my phone would die after reading 1 book on it. Also, I like that my Kindle tracks what books I’ve read by what author in case I want to check out other books by him/her/them. Being able to pick back up where I left off is a plus for me as well. In addition to this, I can pick my font, size, and adjust my screen brightness as needed; no glare or eye strain during late night binge reading sessions either. If you’re hesitant about purchasing a Kindle for yourself or a loved one don’t be. As for myself, I’d be interested in getting the upgraded version in color once the price drops lol.

I bought this as a gift for my fiancee. She said for her first time with an e-reader she’s obsessed. She loves that it is light weight and fits in almost every purse she owns even small hand bags. She loves that the light doesn’t hurt her eyes when reading and hasn't had any issues using it. The only thing she cam across was that she had to google how to leave the book and go back to library which was a simple tap to the top of the screen. She said she rates it 5 stars and is obsessed with it. The battery life last like a whole week. Im thinking about getting myself one! I didn't know it came with 3 months on kindle unlimited which was a big added perk. Overall it great gif and gave me big brownie points with my fiancee so its a win in my book!

I absolutely love the matcha color! The kindle is extremely lightweight, it is easy to read at night, and there is no glare on the screen during the daytime. Having this device has increased my time reading.

I purchased this kindle at the beginning on January in the hopes to stick to my goal of reading more and quickly became obsessed with reading. Reading on this kindle makes it so easy to fly through books, now 11 months later and I have surpassed my reading goal and am always looking for my next book. Whether you read in dark mode or outside on a sunny day the screen is perfect and a great price point as well. I would definitely recommend this kindle.
