“Is the parking mode battery operated or does the Dash cam have to be hard wired to work with parking mode? I want a Dash cam that will record briefly if my car is hit but does not need to be hard wired for power.”

I think that’s where the roav’s battery comes into play. There is enough juice to record a bit if struck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I connect the dash cam using the provided 12V USB adapter to the car outlet. I set the parking mode at medium sensitive. So far no car has bumped into mine. According to the ads, when a car bumps into the front, it should record.
