A:AnswerGreetings, the antenna is multi-directional, therefore it will receive signals from the front lobe and back lobe of the antenna with similar range. You can download our free app Antenna Point to see the TV towers and simply aim the antenna in that direction to receive the signals. If you need any assistance, we are available 7 days a week at 877-825-5572 or chat with us online at antennasdirect.com.
A:AnswerReally? And when you have a thunder and lightening storm? You could at least attach a heavy braided wire to it and clamp that to a piece of re-bar that you sink into the ground. But you might also want to think about disconnecting from your trailer or ZAP!
A:AnswerInstalled three of them, one indoors & two outdoors, connected 2 to the old Cable / satellite lines and one wireless OTA DVR. I haven’t needed a booster yet. Great reception But you can add a booster from Best Buy if needed in your home area.
A:AnswerIt can handle a few TVs, but each one you add contributes to signal loss at each splitter. If the loss is too great, consider an antenna signal amp, you can get one at RadioShack online.
A:AnswerUse this web site and plug in your address.

Then use a compass (or compass app on your phone) to determine the direction for the channel(s) listed (i.e. 7 miles at 346°)
A:AnswerMaybe ... amplifying a bad signal may only add interference however if there are obstructions to the line of sight. I would ask a pro in your area. With so many "cutting the cord" these days, installing antennas has become a viable business again, or at least a viable service. Best Buy can do it ... they are not inexpensive but they stand by their work.
A:AnswerI was having a hard time getting some local channels with my old antenna but since I purchased this antenna I get all the local channels plus numerous other's. I have vaulted ceilings so I have mine on the shelf towards the top of the vaulted ceiling the picture is perfect !
A:AnswerI get about 55 here in Houston But there are a lot of foreign language and special channel like religious and shopping ones that I don't watch myself.
All the big networks PBS, FOX, CW, CBS...etc. come in fine. The bonus is that there have several channels in addition to the main channel. PBS has for example 8, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3,-8.7. When I had cable I only received the equivalent of the first channel and it the basic cable package cost me $20/month.
Adding a DVR like a TV Romeo is a good idea to record shows for viewing when you wish.
A:AnswerThis antenna does not include an amplifier. Amplifiers don't always help. If there's a spotty signal to begin with, your chances of getting better reception with an amplifier are, in my opinion, 50/50 at best. An amp won't improve a signal that is obstructed; it may marginally improve signal strength for distant stations. This model seems to be fine up to 35 miles provided you have a clear line of sight to the towers.
