• Your tv just has to have a built-in tuner. Most new TVs do.

• No you do not need a smart tv. We have a regular tv upstairs and it works great on. We just used the cable wires that were already here and voila...broadcast tv. I was amazed at all the chanel. there are tons of HD channels I think we get around 40 half of them are junk but then so were half of cables channels

• No I don't, but antenna will work with TV's with 75 ohm input and you have to be in range of stations I am 15 miles away.
