I had a similar problem. Our lowtech solution for now: Used strong cotton cording and hung it from the curtain rod in the window with closest to line of sight to the towers. Doesn't look pretty, but it works for now, till we can get permission to install it outside.

An antenna can be used anywhere in a home as long as it is placed in the right location to receive the signals from the broadcast towers. To determine where the towers are located near your home and if the location you want to place the antenna would work, you can click on this link and enter your zip or full address, we do not keep your info, to check the towers: https://www.antennasdirect.com/transmitter-locator.html. The ClearStream 4MAX is a very powerful antenna. We always suggest placing antennas up as high as possible, such as in an attic on the roof. They do work well indoors, however electronics and building materials can cause interference.
