Line of sight issues perhaps. I have using two different Sony TV models. One mode picks up the a channel with no issues while the other one does not, which is the newest one. I redid the connector at the splitter for the TV which is causing issue, but that did not help. I am thinking of replacing the coax cable from the wall to the TV next, I know I should have not. Perhaps using a so called lossless coax cable.
