Can this be placed in the attic null

Yes it can be mounted in the attic or outside.

I installed my antenna in my attic. The installation was easy with the supplied mount and rotating the antenna for maximum channels was easy with the app I downloaded to my phone.

I have 2 of these. Both work well. One inside near window, the other attached to front of house. The one in window operates one TV. Other connected to 2 televisions. Both good picking up from more than 60 miles.
