Go to TV Fool and run TV Signal Analysis.

CBS tower is 90 miles away. Roof mounted with a signal booster and lte filter. Bestbuy probably has something like it. only $12.

I did my research and it worked for me. I worked on my research for a week. You won't have to do that much. The hard part it making the decision to do it.
I started buying stuff one day and and had everything running the next. 

As far as the KODI and add-on to getting media off the internet for FREE, it is best if you have two computers to work with. One to display the instruction and the other for the installation. Takes 15 steps and absolutely perfect spelling. Antenna comes in the antenna input on the TV and KODI on HDMI input. KODI will need high speed internet access. KODI is absolutely free media. Just use you laptop as the source. 

You have nothing to lose. If it doesn't work take it back.
