“Thank you for your reply about this item. I was recommended to buy one for my iron filter for my water system. I live in the country and occasionaly the electricity goes off unexpectedly and they the filter unit has to be reset. Would this system work”

This unit will only support 255 watts so there is a chance it may overload the UPS. I would confirm how much power the filter draws to make sure it would be under the supported power draw. I would also make sure the iron filter isn't a motorized load as well since they can cause issues with our BackUPS since they draw quite a bit of power.
