Thank you for your inquiry. The BX1500G provides a stepped approximated sine wave while on battery power. If your equipment needs a pure sine wave at all times, we would recommend something in our Smart-UPS line. ( SMT model ). We also have some AV specific units which provide a pure sine wave while on battery power.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Almost all UPS are simulated AC. The only ones that are actual AC are those used for audio equipment because computer UPS's would introduce noise into the audio system. They are quite expense because they are AC.
