Sir/Ma'am, good day. The IPAD is 10.2 inches as in the description. Before you do anything, you will need to backup your old Ipad through settings. I'm not sure which Ipad you have. In settings, (you can google this also), you determine what you want backed up, and then set it to go to your Icloud. Once you get your new Ipad, you can cover data from the Icloud (via your apple ID) to your new Ipad with no issues.
