Yes, it will work! However depending on how pro or in depth of a photo editor you are, a different iPad might be better suited. If you are doing this for your own pictures (not for business or work) it would definitely do the job. If you are however editing photos or videos all day long then maybe an iPad Air or higher may be better suited for the job.
