• With an internet connection and an Apple ID, you can make and receive calls in the FaceTime app (first sign in with your Apple ID, or create an Apple ID, if you don’t have one).

• NO! Not this model, it's WiFi only. To make/receive calls you would need to upgrade to the WiFi + Cellular model. WiFi + Cellular adds $130.00 to the price.
