Depends on what you’re going to use it for. If you’re not storing movies on it, I would say 64 GB would be enough, especially since you have access to iCloud and other third-party storage like Dropbox, both with their “free versions”. I read an article that said the 256GB was most cost-effective in terms of how much you are paying for storage per GB. I was going to just buy 64 GB since I always have bought most basic version of iPad. Decided to go with mid-level one of 256 GB after reading that article and thinking I may use video more on this iPad.
