iPad Pro Power
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first iPad was my iPad 2. For obvious cost reasons, I don't update my iPads as frequently as I do my other Apple devices. So after my iPad 2, I went to an iPad Air 1. It lasted well, but iOS 11 really slowed down the Air. I wouldn't be surprised if iOS 12 is the last version for the Airs. So when Best Buy had a pre-black Friday sales on iPads, I went looking. I found an open box, never used iPad Pro 10 with 256GB storage for $630. Since they retail for $799, that's a helluva deal! I was really surprised by how quickly this thing moves. I read that the iPad Pro 10's have 4GBs of RAM in them, up from the 2GB that the Pro 9.7's had. I'm guessing that my Air probably had 1GB or 512MB of RAM. This thing is like a speed demon. Animations are fluid and beautiful. The screen is just a bit larger than my old iPad, but it's still not gargantuan like the Pro 12. The refresh rate has been bumped up to 120MHz, so the video and animation is lifelike and rendered bright and beautifully on the 600 nits screen. If you're comparing the specs and features of the new iPads versus the Pros, you owe it to yourself to check out the Pros. Sure, they're more expensive, but the specs are much better and you also have the option of using the Apple Pencil. I haven't picked up the Pencil yet, but I have a feeling it's only a matter of time before I do. The Pros have enough hardware in them to essentially make them more future-proof than the Airs / regular iPads nowadays. Gaming is quick and clean with no frame rate issues. Here's a rundown of the Pro 10 specs that I think matter most: * 2.38 GHz Ax10 Fusion Chip (6 Cores) / M10 Motion Coprocessor * 12 Core GPU * 4GB RAM * 10.5 inch screen, thinner bezel on sides * 2224 x 1668 resolution, 264ppi, * 120MHz refresh rate with 600 nits brightness * Storage Tiers - 64GB, 256GB, 512GB

iPad Pro 10.5 is Perfect for my needs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first had the iPad Mini and now have graduated to the iPad Pro. I love it. It is light weight, and it is super fast. There are lots of improvements in this version. I’m learning them a little at a time. They are really great. All improvements and enhancements make it easier to use and vital (at least to me) for everyday life.

Great tablet, Good Size
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good tablet. Apple has improved its system and it works faster than the original iPad Pro, but in my opinion the improvements are not worth the upgrade if you already have the ipad pro 9.7. The improvements arn't so noticable. I actually went from the 12.9 to the 10.5 and the improvements stand out more. For one it is lighter and easier to carry, it also works better for me as a book reader. Overall, it is worth the upgrade if you are looking to upgrade to an iPad Pro, but if you already have one, i would wait unless you are looking to upgrade due to available space.

Q: QuestionI would like to get a tablet for school but i do not know which would be better buy for a student the Apple iPad pro or the Microsoft surface pro tablets.
Asked by jmadro1109.
- A:Answer Surface Pro without doubt. I'm a teacher and a designer. Ipads are amazing tools, but incomplete. Your Ipad will not be able to run PC or Mac software, which is what your classes will demand. If you can only get one- DEFINITELY the surface. (I have both, and both are amazing, but if I had to have just one, Surface without doubt.)

Q: QuestionI want to purchase a new I pad 10.5 for my wife. We have never had one. My question is what is the best choice of I pad if it will be used as a computer, searching the internet and taking, photo and videos. I am not looking to ADD A phone to our cell plan
Asked by Ziggy.
- A:Answer I would say if you want a cumputer go with surface pro or a surface book. But, if you want an iPad go with the 10.5 or 12.9 whichever ever you prefer, I think the 12.9 would be best because it’s the same size as most laptops. I would go with 256gb either way because 64gb isn’t that much and 512 is a little excessive unless you use a ton. Go with WiFi only because you said you didn’t want another device on your plan. I have the 10.5 inch 64 go but planning on returning to get 10.5 256. I would say to get the Apple Pencil because that is one reason to get the pro model besides specs. Expensive, but worth it in my books, have only used once and don’t personally own one, but getting one. Also, with it you can download a photo editing app and edit photos with it. Also getting a keyboard with it I would say is a must. Remember also It’s limited to IOS only it does run windows. If you have other apple products and a computer already and your just using this as a add on go with it!

Q: Questionwill the 64gb be enough memory or is 256 advisable for the Apple ipad pro 10.5"?
Asked by Jeff.
- A:Answer Depends on what you’re going to use it for. If you’re not storing movies on it, I would say 64 GB would be enough, especially since you have access to iCloud and other third-party storage like Dropbox, both with their “free versions”. I read an article that said the 256GB was most cost-effective in terms of how much you are paying for storage per GB. I was going to just buy 64 GB since I always have bought most basic version of iPad. Decided to go with mid-level one of 256 GB after reading that article and thinking I may use video more on this iPad.
