Is the 2.3 21 inch imac slow ? null

Depending on what you want to do... Email and web, it works. Photo editing, not that great, video I cannot comment on... You can upgrade the memory and hard drive, see OWC, google it. They have the hardware and tools to do the job on your kitchen table much cheaper than what Apple charges. That is the route I would go. Save a grand, do it yourself.
