On the Apple website, this looks just like the model that has a 1TB Fusion Drive. Does it have the Fusion Drive and this is just a misprint? or is it really just one single mechanical hard drive? null

Yes, comes with the Fusion Drive. Which is a standard hard drive with 24gb partitioned to act like a Solid State hard drive for your most used programs.

Fusion is a good drive better than a standard drive but even with the SSD component.. It is only a 5400 rpm drive. Upgrade to SSD drive and put it in yourself and use the old drive for storage. It's easy to do exchange and set up. There is lots to read about on how to do it. Putting more memory in the same and save yourself $500 doing it. And get confidence in your self and on your abilities. Just follow directions to a T, watch and follow the Videos, and don't' be in a hurry.
