• The iMac or any Mac computer has a build in migration app. Go to finder and select utilities, then select Migration Assistant and follow the steps to move your apps, files or everything to your new Mac. Good luck.

• It’s very simple to do and through migration assistance, which is located HD/Applications/Utility’s. This will walk you through transferring files through an external backup hard drive or your current iMac.
