“I know with phones you should not charge them unless they need charging to help with battery knowledge however should air pods be placed in charging case when not needing charging bc otherwise would be easy to loose?”

It's best to not leave them plugged in charging for more than 3 hours but I just leave them in the case but unplug the charging cord from the case.

The AirPods case is used to keep them fully charged and together so they won’t be accidentally separated. The only thing I recommend is that you don’t leave them in their with out using them for multiple days on end. Other than that you can keep them in the case!
