Are these ear pods comparable with a Samsung Note 8 ? null

I use mine with several devices including my Note Ultra. If you have bluetooth, they work.

I don’t see the relationship. One is a phone, the other is a pair of headphones. Having said that if you make me choose between ona or the other I’ll keep the AirPods hands down.
