The algorithm Apple uses allows the sound to be distributed accordingly. I'm no audio engineer so my best answer would be to just check this link out.

I have them in stereo mode. The sound is great. So yes, it sends the sounds as needed. The stereo separation is very good.

probably, but it's not stereo. HomePod analyses the sound and decides where to bounce it, so you can get kinda a stereo effect, but it's not true stereo. For that, you'll have to buy two and pair them when the AirPlay 2 update releases later this year.

Nope, just the left channel. But you can't really tell from a distance. But Apple seems to be developing stereo for 2 of these tied together....

theres 7 tweeters not sure if it work by the old school LR.
