• HomeKit and Kasa devices do not play well together. Some will mate and some won't. Would recommend Home Assistant if you plan to tinker.

• if you are looking to control anything in your homelike Kasa smart plugs etc. I highly recommend you choose another brand. Apple's implementation is very frustrating to work with. While you can get it to work with various devices out there, Siri is very particular and often misinterprets my words or just doesn't recognize my voice because my phone isn't close enough etc. Google Home Minis and Alexas are way more seamless to work with.
