• Sadly it appears it only works with Apple TV, No PS4 or Regular TVs, sadly this was the deal killer for me

• I just tried and I was able to connect an Apple TV first gen as a sound bar and it sounded good! Pressing the play/pause on remote didn’t work for me so I had to go to settings and setup airplay and chose the speaker you want as output

• Yes! You can connect your Apple TV to the HomePod either by holding the play/pause button on your Siri remote and selecting HomePod as the source, or via the audio preferences slide down while viewing content.

• Yes you can. And when AirPlay 2 comes out later this year, you will be able to pair 2 HomePods together for enhanced sound.

• Yes, you can output sound from the Apple TV to the HomePod. Siri on the HomePod cannot control the Apple TV, however.
