“Can this be set up without having to use 2 step Authentication? I have an iPhone, an iPad, a work MacBook, and iMac, Apple TV and a Watch. 2 step authentication is a pain in the neck. I always have to enter a code to use something.”

No code or authentication needed. Just uses your phone to connect to WiFi

Yes. You simply hold your iOS device next to the HomePod and it automatically transfers all settings and sets up within minutes.

No, there is no 2-step authentication involved with the setup. You just plug the HomePod in to power. Hold your iPhone near it and authorize it to send your wifi settings to it. DONE.

Yep. It pairs like EarPods; just have your iOS device nearby when you plug it in.

To setup HomePod, just make sure your Apple device (iPhone, iPad, etc) is already connected to your wifi and your device has Bluetooth turned on in Settings. Hold your device near the HomePod. A setup screen will appear on your device. Now just complete the onscreen setup. It's quick and easy and only needs to be done once!
