• It may transfer over when you use Migration Assistant, but i'm thinking you may have to actually reinstall it in the mini. Search online for this, you may find an easy solution

• MS products do not work on the Apple platform. There are similar applications that will replace them. As with any new direction, there will be a learning curve. All of your documents will be able to be read as is, however, they will not be editable unless they are converted to the equivalent Apple application.
