DOTA 2 is similar to World of Warcraft in some capacity, but the difference in this case would be that DOTA 2 is actually SIGNIFICANTLY easier to run than current retail modern WoW in terms of system requirements. DOTA 2 is roughly 2 to 3 times less demanding than modern WoW in terms of computer hardware. Also, DOTA 2 can run on MacOS and not just Windows. So, in short, yes DOTA 2 can run on this laptop very, very well.
