• Yes...when you first set it up you will be asked if you want to move your Mac Book Pro files and settings over. You can do it over WiFi, but faster if you have a USB-C cord. It's easy! When you fire up your new device it will be just the same.

• Yes. There are different ways of doing it : either via Time Machine backup, or by using Migration Assistant if you still have the old MacBook Pro.
