“Does the unit get hot when using such as watching a movie?”

• Ive watched movies on iTunes, and never noticed it getting hot, and Im constantly checking because on my dell laptop, it would get hot super fast using iTunes to watch a movie. Even when I transferred music from cd to my iTunes library it didn't get hot. With my dell it would overheat, even though the dell is only 2 years old.

• Not that I have noticed. I use mine for not only a full time school load but a full time work load, haven't had any issues with hot.

• This unit will get hot when running any large file or program. I would recommend going with the new model of the Macbook Pro which has a solid state hard drive and will not overheat!

• No, I hook my mac pro to my tv and watch netflix movie without it being connected to a power cord and can watch one movie without draining the battery or it getting hot.
