Buy 128gb if you need extra storage for photos, movies etc and plan on using this laptop for 2 yrs max Buy 256gb if you need space for apps and professional work, and plan on making this laptop last for 2 or more years. Either way you go, its a great investment since Apple retains its value better than most other PCs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are using a lot of space with photos, 128GB will quickly be used up; especially if you are shooting high quality photos with large storage requirements. If you can manage to shell out the extra $300, it will be well worth it. If not, you have options, you could easily find a ~$60 1TB external hard drive that will plug in to the Macbook's USB-3 port for fast transfers. Also, if you prefer, you could purchase microSSD cards that can fit in the port. Either way, you will be happy with your purchase!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i dont think you can upgrade any parts once u purchase the computer if thats what u refering to it better to buy an external hard drive or usb drive
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if you have the cash, go for it -- but....i do video, storage goes fast. photos are not such a drain -- but programs are a lot bigger than you think.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.its wiser to invest in 256 if it fits your budget!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would do it! You won't have to worry about filling up a port when you have to access your external storage. 128GB isn't enough today with the amount of music, photos and applications one accumulates. You will be happy in a year or two when you don't have think about deleting stuff.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.256GB you do not want to overload your system's memory. get an external hard drive for photos if you choose the 128
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought an external harddrive for my photos and music from my PC so I have plenty of room with the 256. You don't want to ever go too small though. But if you are a pro with the free online storage there are many to choose from and 128 could be OK.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the 128GB Pro when i downloaded apps and a couple of other things i was down to 99GB. And if you have an OS X update that will take up more of your SSD. Right now with the 256GB i have 222GB left. I'm glad i moved up to the larger storage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I love taking pictures! I would recommend getting the time capsule in addition to the MacBook. It's great for storage and it will keep your computer "clutter" free to keep it running smooth :)
