• Great computer for djing and if you get garage band set up, or download and get a good synthesizer you are set. Fast processing speed and great audio to match all of your work, in my mind. Ive been playing with it for years on and off just messing around and my sister uses it specifically for music.

• Yes it is. Make sure you select the largest solid state drive so you will have enough room to save al of your tracks.

• It's powerful, so that is good. It has no built-in CD/DVD drive but I'm not sure if DJ's need that anymore. This is Apple's top of the line laptop. If anything, it is too good for Djs. (Only kidding)

• Too answer your question, as far as running seamlessly and at a speed that will impress you, I would think it would be perfect, but you should either get a 512GB hard drive model being a Dj, I guess you have a lot of music, or save some money and buy a one Terabyte external hard drive for all your music. That will keep you laptop fast and storage free for email and general use. I don't think you can go wrong.
