• The battery is ridiculously good. You can watch an average length movie and the battery will only go down about 10% if your brightness isn't up a lot.

• I checked the apple web site and found this info regarding the battery. Up to 10 hours wireless web Up to 12 hours iTunes movie playback I personally have used my computer to view Netflix, but it's usually late in the day. Therefore, I plug it in and while the battery is recharging, I still can watch movies or streaming video.

• Hmm. If you open many programs at the same time it will be 7-8 hours. If it is only video then 9-10 hours.

• Easily over 10 hours. My wife has told me that she only charges her computer 2 times a week and that's with watching videos and performing research for her advanced nursing classes as well as iTunes movies and Netflix.

• We've been using for marathon Netflix and get between 6 and 8 hours with all my communications (email, Google +, and Mighty text) as well as three cloud services! Quite a workhorse!

• If streaming videos online, the battery lasts for 4.5-5 hours at full charge.. Otherwise if you are doing your everyday work like surfing, making word docs, presentations, playing audio, then the battery would last for the whole day.
