“Can this keyboard, with the cable it comes with, work as a "USB device" without Bluetooth? I'd like to use this with a KVM that is connected to multiple computers. Thanks.”

Yes, the keyboard is recognized as a traditional USB keyboard when connected via USB on both MacOS as well as Bootcamp Win7/Win10. The lightning to USB cable that is included is rather short so more than likely you will need a longer cable to connect the keyboard to the KVM switch.

I can confirm to myself, and thanks to the others who responded, that this DOES in fact work in wired mode, and it DOES in fact work with a KVM Switch. I had a Mac and Windows 10 PC connected to it and it worked without issues.

The answer is YES,.. I use Bootcamp for Windows 10 for gaming. I can use blue tooth settings to connect the keyboard every-time I switch to Windows 10. But if I leave the supplied USB/Lighting Cable connected to the computer by USB. It works great !!

Sadly, no - the cable would interfere with the operation of the mouse (the connector is on the actual gliding surface).
