- Answer It is wireless. It works like a charm. No batteries needed. You plug it into a usb port to charge or operate and it automatically syncs with your Mac (not sure how eell it will work with a PC). You can then leave it plugged in or unplug it and use it fully wireless. It recharges pretty quickly too.

- Answer Yes, the keyboard is recognized as a traditional USB keyboard when connected via USB on both MacOS as well as Bootcamp Win7/Win10. The lightning to USB cable that is included is rather short so more than likely you will need a longer cable to connect the keyboard to the KVM switch.

- Answer If you bought the full sized Magic keyboard then you have two delete keys. One for backspace and the other deletes to the right. On the smaller Magic keyboard, the delete key erases to the right but to backspace you use the Fn key on the lower left of the keyboard to make it delete normally.

QuestionI have a iMac 21 with a tiny factory supplied keyboard. If I replace it with this keyboard will it sync ok with my iMac and will there be any conflict with the factory supplied mouse?

- Answer I changed from the small factory size keyboard that came with the computer and hated it. I switched and paid for the upgrade to the larger keyboard and there is no problem with the factory supplied mouse.

- Answer Yes. I just got one a few weeks ago to replace the KB that came with my iMac. I have a Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014 model and it works just fine. I have it connected via the cable that came with it just so the battery doesn't die. I guess it pairs with the iMac automatically since it was connected via cable first like the apple pencil does to an iPad.

- Answer It connects wirelessly via Bluetooth, and works seamlessly on my M1 MacBook Pro. It charges via a Lightning cable, like an iPhone, and rarely requires charging after a first full charge. You could use an iPhone charger, or a USB-C/Thunderbolt to Lightning cable from your iMac occasionally.
