• If you use eSIM you can use apple’s phone transfer process to move the eSIM and all of your previous data to your new phone

• I didn't - you have to change the sim card from the old phone to the new one. It will walk you through the process of setting up the new phone, including when to transfer the card.

• Once you get this new Iphone ( no SIM card) just log into it with your Apple ID and password. All your info will then be uploaded. To make cellular call however, you may have to transfer your Verizon SIM card to this new iPhone. Or just get a new SIM card from Verizon. Otherwise your will only be able to make calls through wifi.
