I have only had this phone for about one week so that makes me an unqualified source on the subject of longevity of this phone. I bought my phone new from Best buy and there were no scratches whatsoever on the phone. that's not to say from normal wear and tear and use that it won't get a few scratches. I consider those to be beauty marks. The screen does fingerprint up easily as do all glass face cell phones.

Please do not buy any of these unlocked refurbished phones. I purchased two. Within 2 months one died and the other the screen would freeze on the right side. Then I could only mail the phones back to the company not Best Buy. I could mail them back because I had no other phone to use. I unfortunately had to buy two brand new phones. I waisted $500 I could have used towards a new phone.
