A:AnswerI was having same issue. Sometimes WiFi speed was less than 20mbs but averaged around 45. Called to complain to Spectrum and they installed a newer router. Now I average 220mbs and have had no problems since.
A:Answernot that i am aware of, it would require some time of jailbreak or hack to make that possible. Apple does have controllers similar to PS and Xbox that you can purchase for the apple tv
A:AnswerApple Tv 4K has Dolby vision and is the hub for Apple HOmekit products. If you do not have apple products you are probably fine with the fire cube. With that being said, if you have a high quality television like an OLED or a new Samsung Qled, Dolby vision looks so much better than HDR10 with 4K resolution.
A:AnswerThis device is similar to a smart 4k player as long as you do not take disc usage into account. I would probably recommend this to you if you have other apple products because the apple ecosystem greatly enhances the connectivity between devices. You can easily stream your Mac/iphone/ipad onto the apple tv. Also, the apple tv has a feature called the tv app which allows you to put all of your tv shows into one place no matter what the streaming service is.
A:Answer4k and HDR are different. HDR also Varys based on the tv itself.
4k is the resolution of the screen. How many pixels are on the screen.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) has to do with the color contrasts. It makes the blacks blacker, makes the colors more bold, and tends to intensify brighter colors. Regardless if you have hdr or not, 4k will have a sharp picture.
HDR also varies in the sense that say OLed tvs give the deepest black color you can get in an led tv. So it takes less color to achieve the larger contrast. Where as Samsung’s QLed doesn’t achieve the black levels the OLed tvs get, however it has a higher range of overall colors and tends to be much brighter overall.
There is not really a bad HDR as any 4k(UHD) tv would benefit from an HDR update.
A:Answerthe previous version of the apple tv has a sling app, so without personally verifying, I assume that this will support it as well though Sling will not broadcast in 4k
A:AnswerFrom my experience, you can play anything from your iTunes library to your television via AppleTV. Audio is able to be transmitted from iTunes to the AppleTV, and you can AirPlay any video as long as you're using an Apple computer. In short, the AppleTV should connect directly to your iTunes library. It even has a "music" app that shows everything included in your iTunes library.
A:AnswerNo, you just need a 4K TV in order to use this model to its full potential. The Apple TV is in essence a smart hub, that is pre-loaded with different apps and that is connected to your Apple account. All you have to do is plug it in, and enjoy!
A:AnswerYes it is possible. Various services like direct now, Hulu, YouTube and sling offer apps that can be downloaded to utilize their live tv services. Personally I use direct now. It has some issues but does what we need it to and only costs a fraction of what I used to pay for regular cable.
A:AnswerHDR 10 and HDR 10+ are not the same thing. HDR 10+ is Samsung’s answer to Dolby vision requiring licensing fees for Dolby vision. There is almost no support for HDR 10+, including Apple 4K tv at the time of writing this. If you have a samsung tv, you will get static HDR 10 and will not get the upgraded HDR you paid so much for. Thanks Samsung for giving us a bs gimmick because you couldn’t be bothered to fork out 3 dollars a tv to support it. If you wanted that exceptionally much better and great hdr content, shoulda got a Dolby vision capable tv for the exact same price you paid for your Samsung. I regret getting my q6. I won’t make this mistake again.
