The Apple 3 smart watch works only with the smart iPhone, its, its communication to receive text, calls, daily progress and so much more. without the smart phone its just a regular watch.

No you will not be able to use your phone with the Apple Watch because there is an Apple Watch app that you have to open in order to pair your phone with the watch.
