I purchased an open box watch which I thought I would never do but so far, I haven't had any problems with the open box and even though it wasn't a huge savings, it was enough to cause me to get the 3 series instead of the 2. I bought this watch to replace a broken fitbit and I am so glad I did because it so perfectly pairs with my mac air, iphone 7 and ipad I own. I was surprised by friends that say they don't use many of the features on the watch because I am 60 (supposedly older people don't understand tech stuff) and I use so many features on this watch. I recommend you go online, download the instruction manual (over 300 pages) use the table of contents to skim what you don't think you'll need and read the parts you might use. In addition to all of the sport tracking features I love the little things, I can ping my phone (which I am always losing), it automatically opens my mac air, I can silent my phone without taking it out of my purse, I can see who is calling me and send a short response without taking my phone out of my purse, I can set up my clock face to my specifications so that I can see the time without my reading glasses or know what time it is in Dublin where my son lives. I can quickly make it waterproof before I wash dishes or bath the dog and if I want I can wear it when I swim laps at the YMCA but I haven't tried that yet. I guess you can tell I love this watch.

Apple discontinued "Rose Gold" for Series 3 watches. But they changed the "Gold" color from the Series 2. My wife and I both like the new Series 3 Gold. It's somewhere between Gold and Rose Gold. And the wristband is a better Pink. The actual watch is, of course, awesome! She got the one without Cellular (with Cellular you will have to pay $10/mo to your cell phone provider for the watch). You will get all the same features on the regular Series 3 watch that the Cellular one has. The only difference is that Cellular will let you leave your phone at home or in the car and you will still be able to receive calls and texts on your watch. But most people don't need that.

I’m the one that always opted out to getting the Apple Watch. I thought it was pointless until now. I love this watch. It’s so convenient, simple to setup, and easy to use. It beats always having to pick up your iPhone to respond to messages. It’s the best! Oh yeah, don’t be silly like me by making a second trip to Best Buy asking for a larger band because it comes in the box. Lol. The watch comes with the smaller band already on it and the large band is in the box. Also, I went with the 38mm because the 42mm was too big for my wrist. The 38mm is a perfect fit. I’m still exploring the watch and loving it!

I got this as a birthday present and I LOVEE it! I am able to track my activity throughout the day, how many calories I’ve burned in a workout and even text through it when I am too lazy to pick up my phone. Everything about it is amazing except for the casing color. On the photographs the casing looked gold but in person, it looked more of a rose gold color. I was disappointed on that part because I really wanted a bright gold to match with the different bands. The color won’t stop me from wearing it everyday however!

I love this watch. I switched from a Fitbit to a Samsung active watch (to go with my Google Pixel) and was so disappointed had to get two of them and neither of them worked appropriately and he battery life was awful and died within a days use. This watch on the other hand, is sleek, fully functional with my iPhone, and has amazing fitness tracking. I hardly take it off if I can avoid it!

I don't need the latest and greatest, or the EKG, or even the fall detection. What I really needed was a watch, that could work with my phone, fit my wrist, give me directions and work with my laptop. It's perfect. It works. I can't use my phone of the sales floor, but I CAN phone through the watch, help my customers, answer the business phone and send texts through the watch, all without missing a beat. I cannot tell you how fascinated my customers are, and how many questions I get about the Series 3 AND the Series 4 I bought for my 87 year old and she loves it. I also cannot tell you how many times I will see a customer, having explained how I use my watch, who has gone to Best Buy or Apple and bought their own, and have come back to thank me and share how they use their watch! BTW I drive horses Combined Driving. The watch is very good for keeping me on pace AND on course :D

Good little watch for the money. The memory was limited but overall a good fit. I bought this for my wife so she could do the Apple fitness workouts, but she lost interest in it after about 3 weeks. So, it has been my teenage daughter's watch now. My daughter loves it. The smaller size is just right for her.

This watch has become an intrical part of not only my personal life, but my business as well. As a Realtor, I can answer texts, emails, and calls without using my phone. It also relays directions on your wrist when using GPS on your phone, which vibrates when it's time to make a turn, saving time from turning around or being re-routed when I'm on the phone not paying attention to the GPS. In my personal life, I use it when cooking to set timers, give me recipes, or any other information - just twist your wrist and say "hey Siri" and she does it all. I love the activity aspect to track my fitness & heart rate. Don't even wear my other watches anymore, because I literally cannot live without this watch!!

I had wanted to get a watch to track my everyday steps and fitness but I didn’t want a Fitbit nor did wanta Garmin because I wasn’t that active and I also wanted something that synced to my phone well. Since this was Apple just like my phone I wanted to give it and try and wow if I had the money I would 2 more of these as gifts.

I bought the series 3 on sale because I wasn’t sure if I would like or use. After a slight learning curve, I love my watch. I bought the blue tooth only version. No cell. It allows me to leave my phone and sit on patio or work in garden and not miss a call or text. It will reach as far as your WiFi system will. We went out on jet ski and as soon as we arrived back near dock my messages started coming through. The voice messaging has been exactly correct and did not print things I did not say. Very accurate. Also, have it water resistant to 50 meters makes it easy to wear around the pool, lake, boat.

I bought both the 42mm watch and 38mm and love them both. I like my watch because it helps me keep track of my fitness since I am trying to get back in shape. Love that I don’t have to be taking my phone out each time I get a call or message. The color goes well with a lot of colors. Good all around would definitely buy again. I like it so much I’m thinking about getting the new series.

Best smartwatch on the market! I bought my Apple Watch in 2022 after killing three Fitbitch smartwatches and one no name Amazon smartwatch. It’s 2024 and my Apple Watch lives on despite me working outside, year round in various weather conditions, despite banging off equipment, and forgetting to take it off in the shower. This has been the most durable by far. It is a little banged up and doesn’t hold a charge like it did in the beginning but it still works fine.

Bought for my wife's birthday. She love's having a smart watch but is highly allergic to the nickel in the watches. This was our 3rd and final try. I ordered the Series 3 with the bumper. ZERO reaction to the watch and she absolutely loves the functionality! Integrates with all of her apple gear perfectly.

My Apple 3 watch is great for me. (Although, I still have many things to learn about it!) I'm 76 and technology is a bit of a challenge. I like its encouragement to get me up and exercise. I did choose to replace the band, however, with a magnetic mesh gold one. I like it better than the other style band. I watched two tutorials, and believe that I will watch 2 more. The price was way better than anywhere else.

I went with the GPS only 38mm watch, as i don’t like big bulky wrist watches. It connected to my iPhone easily and works great. Always gets calls and alerts without a hiccup. Battery stays charged all day EASILY. I barely ever have to charge it, and it keeps my phone battery life extending due to not using it as often. I work outside and have hit it on branches and equipment and it holds up to some abuse. Overall for the price it has so many features i use daily and others i never use. Highly recommended for someone who doesn’t wanna spend a ton, but wants a reliable smart watch.

Had to get a replacement for my broken 5 series. Honestly for the price I should have gotten a 3 to begin with. It does EVERYTHING it needs to. Def buy a case though. I also bought an aftermarket band to fit my style. Very easy to switch out!
