You can essentially do that flip back-and-forth but if you already doubting your usage for cellular just go with the GPS model you get all the same features all the benefits mine is cellular I had the same doubt and just went with the GPS model and I don’t regret it at all

Yes, you would simply cancel it from your phoneplan- keep in mind sometimes you may be in a contract
