I have had the original model since they first shipped. I would like to know how well the series 4 GPS model works with the iPhone at taking calls. I find it takes a long time to connect to the call with my current watch. Thank you. null

I had a series 1 and know what you mean. Sometimes my call wouldn’t even connect. I can tell you first hand that this (4) watch runs a lot smoother. With never any hiccups. And the speakers are louder. I have an iPhone 8 Plus just in case you’d like to know. Really is a great upgrade. Hope I helped. Even the music app on my Apple Watch 4, connected to my iPhone never lags.

I too had the S0 since launch day and now have the S4 GPS only. I can say that calls answer much faster - around 1.5-2 seconds to connect once you answer the call on the watch.

I have the S4 and it’s the first one I’ve owned, but the calls come in and connect immediately. I haven’t noticed any lag or delay. I use the call feature very often.
