A previous question mentioned a charging port. My Arlo uses batteries, and Netgear strongly recommends against rechargeable batteries, so I'm not sure what that is. Either way, how difficult is it to change the batteries with this mount in place? null

It is just a matter of unscrewing the camera off the stem, which can be done with no tools, since it is attached with a thumbscrew. Other than unscrewing it, the charging proceeds exactly the same as with the magnetic mounts

The Pro version uses rechargeable lithium ion that comes with the camera (as well as you can buy Arlo's extra LI batteries). You have the original one and most people I know buy the replacement batteries in bulk. It is correct not use rechargeable batteries.

Depends on which Arlo you have the Pro version has a rechargable battery pack, the Arlo has replacable batteries.
I have the Pro and will need to remove the camera to recharge the battery.
