QuestionI need to mount this at the top of the entry door frame on the outside of the house in order to see down the front sidewalk. What prevents someone from unscrewing the camera from the base and walking off with it?

- Answer Yes it can Brian... The camera can be threaded onto the mount securely and can remain in place. Just be sure to go into the camera settings and flip on the "Rotate Image" toggle.

QuestionA previous question mentioned a charging port. My Arlo uses batteries, and Netgear strongly recommends against rechargeable batteries, so I'm not sure what that is. Either way, how difficult is it to change the batteries with this mount in place?

- Answer It is just a matter of unscrewing the camera off the stem, which can be done with no tools, since it is attached with a thumbscrew. Other than unscrewing it, the charging proceeds exactly the same as with the magnetic mounts

QuestionHow big is the plastic tightening screw? There are two different designs; "flat and wide" designed for the original Arlo, and "tall and narrow" to fit into the Arlo Pro camera. The "flat and wide" style blocks the USB charge port on the Arlo Pro.

- Answer The plastic tightening screw is not that big it clears anything that is around it works very well. no problems at all for me.

- Answer I'm answering my own question. No it does not work with the Arlo Pro Floodlight camera. The Floodlight camera comes with it's own mount that is one piece. The Mount and Camera sleeve are one piece that connects to a mounting plate you need to attach to a wall, or side of your house, etc.

QuestionCan the camera be put into a horizontal position and then adjust the application so that it rotates the photo in a vertical position? Also has anyone used a product such as Blue Threadlocker to attach the camera more securely to the mount?

- Answer Yes, but you'll need a masonry bit to drill the mounting holes for the anchors to hold the mount to the concrete/masonry, etc. If I recall correctly, the anchors that come with the mount require a 1/4inch drill bit, so you'll need at least that size masonry drill bit to accommodate the anchors.

- Answer It rotates and swivels. It works well. You have to make adjustments and then lock it. If tightened it won’t move. Lesson learned: when you set up camera and if you are on a ladder, take the phone with you to see how it will look on app to make sure you are capturing the area you want.
